Dariusz Szajnert
Education and Experience
Dariusz earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he concentrated on clinical social work, strength-based practices, and solution-focused therapy. He is a proud member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
Dariusz brings experience from a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient therapy, Intensive In-Home (IIH) services, Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT), and refugee resettlement program. Previously, he was an ACTT Team Lead ar RHA Health Services, has worked with inner-city youth in a juvenile justice programs, and was residential staff at a college preparatory boarding school.

He has specialized training in Psychotherapy for Psychosis, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R). He works with individuals experiencing psychosis, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other serious mental illnesses, helping them improve functioning, recovery, community integration, and overall quality of life.
He also has extensive experience providing services to children, adolescents, and young adults.
About the Provider
Outside of therapy, Dariusz is an avid ultimate frisbee player and has competed at the high school, collegiate, and adult levels. He is also a devoted father, raising his daughter with love and curiosity. His personal parenting journey has further deepened his appreciation for family resilience and healthy relationships.
