Job Details for TMS Treater Position

TMS treaters provide hands-on care to patients that may literally save lives.

Location: North Raleigh, NC
Pay: $16.50–$18.00 per hour plus benefits
Hours: 32–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (with flexibility for occasional evening shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a TMS Treater. No prior TMS experience is required—we provide full training and certification upon hire. However, experience in a patient-service or healthcare setting is essential.


Primary Responsibilities

Treatment Delivery & Patient Care

  • Administer TMS treatments according to physician protocols

  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and treatment accuracy

  • Complete online and in-person TMS training within the first two weeks

  • Provide reflective listening and emotional support to patients

  • Monitor for symptoms or emergencies and respond appropriately

  • Conduct pre-treatment assessments and post-treatment check-ins

Administrative & Technical Support

  • Prepare and calibrate TMS equipment before each session

  • Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues proactively

  • Maintain accurate treatment documentation in the EMR

  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and complete annual HIPAA training

  • Support general office operations as needed

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment


Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing clinical or healthcare role

  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 20 days of hire)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend throughout the day

Preferred

  • Based in or near North Raleigh

  • Experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, or mental health needs

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Comfort working with medical/mechanical equipment
